This notice explains how we handle contact enquiries and information needed to operate this website.
Enquiries and legal grounds
We process your name, email address, optional company and message to answer you and discuss the requested work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); for general enquiries and business contact persons it is our legitimate interest in business communication (Article 6(1)(f)). Name, email and message are necessary to handle the form; company is optional. Please do not send passwords or sensitive data. We do not use enquiries for unsolicited marketing or automated decisions with legal effects.
How long we keep information
Enquiries that do not lead to cooperation are deleted no later than 12 months after the last communication. If cooperation follows, relevant contractual and accounting records are retained for applicable statutory periods (Article 6(1)(c)); records needed for legal claims are restricted and kept only as necessary for those claims (Article 6(1)(f)). Messages are held in our business mailbox, not a separate website enquiry database. Deleted data in backups expires through the hosting provider’s backup cycle.
Technical data and security
The hosting infrastructure processes IP addresses, request times, requested pages, browser information and delivery/error records to serve and protect the website. Our legitimate interest is secure, reliable operation and preventing abuse. The form uses hashed identifiers for rate limiting and duplicate detection: a one-hour attempt window and a 24-hour duplicate window. Expired entries are removed on the next submission; enquiry text is not kept in this state. Provider logs are retained for their operational and security purposes, including incident investigation. Contact us for details of the applicable provider retention periods. Neoserv's mail-delivery report retains delivery records for 14 days.
Recipients and international processing
Access is limited to authorised staff and service providers needed to operate the website and email: Neoserv for email and the delivery relay, and OpenAI and Cloudflare for the hosting platform and delivery infrastructure. Data may be disclosed to authorities where legally required. International infrastructure may process data outside the EEA, including the USA. The applicable provider arrangements describe safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. You may request information about the relevant recipients and safeguards at info@alphasyn.eu. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights and complaints
Write to info@alphasyn.eu or the company address above to request access, correction, erasure or restriction. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and request portability where the legal conditions apply. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We normally respond within one month; a necessary extension of up to two further months will be explained within the first month. We may need proportionate identity verification. You may complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (www.ip-rs.si) or your competent supervisory authority.
Cookies, analytics and updates
We have not added advertising trackers, behavioural analytics, embedded maps or social feeds. Fonts and images are served with the website. Infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary security or delivery mechanisms. We do not use your enquiry to profile you. This notice applies to alphasyn.eu and alphasyn.si and was updated on 7 October 2026. We will update it when the way we process data changes. Cloudflare uses the __cf_bm security cookie to distinguish automated abuse from legitimate visitors; it expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity.
